Pain after HSG?

Hello all,

just wondered if anyone would have any advice:
I had my HSG a week ago on CD 6. I had some bleeding (well, brown spotting really) for a day or two, nothing since. I had EWCM (tinged with brown, nice!) on CD8 (I never ovulate that early! ) and BD on CD9 but it was painful. It has put me off but I know we should try as I usually ov around CD 14... I still feel pain in my cervix. Surely the pain should have passed now, and could what I thought to be EWCM have been something else?

Any ideas would be appreciated!

I had a lot of pain about a week after mine too. I called the doctor as I was really worried. She said it was probably because I was ovulating and everything was still shaken up in there. I also found out that one of my tubes was blocked and she said there was extra fluid moving around in there. It went away a couple of days later. Hope you feel better soon!

Thank you for your reply, NavyWife84! The pain is definitely less now but still there. I am seeing my FS on Wednesday and will mention it to him. What a wasted cycle as have not really wanted BD with this pain... Oh well, onwards and upwards.

My cervix was pretty sore after my HSG as well I think its normal.

My first period after my HSG was very painful, hope you feel better.

I didn't have pain with but cramps that day and on and off tightening pain on my left side. I haven't had my period yet do I'm a little worried about how that will be. I had mine done 12 days ago and I have block on right tube
