Had my c-section 2/22. I moved around entirely too much after in an effort to prevent blood clots. I've slowed down considerably since because of a second hospital stay with baby and a rigid weight gain BF schedule. All of a sudden, last night, I woke from my sleep with charlie horses in each calf. It went away quickly but scared me. Today, I laid down for a bit on the couch and I got the same pain but when I moved my toes to relieve it, they sort of got "stuck" and painful like arthritis or something.

I doubt it's clots because the doc at the hospital said redness, swelling, and inability to walk due to the intense pain, but I don't have any of that.

Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is this anesthesia related?

I had some cramping in my legs and I used to get sharp pains if I straightened my legs at times, which was definitely really painful cramp. As soon as I stretched my leg out it hurt like hell but then went away.

If you're concerned and its ongoing I'd definitely call your health visitor to check

Xx

I remember them telling me that if I had pain in my calf to call the doctor right away, but your situation sounds like cramps. I would call the doctor just in case to give you peace of mind.
