Pain primarily on left side?

Ever since I began to heal I have ha awful pain on my left side only really. It really acts up if I lay or lean to my left. When I sleep I have to sleep on my back or right side or else it is excruciating and I can barely move into another position. Is this normal? Also what about brown blood? I sometimes will not bleed at all for a while and then begin to bleed like normal again but it is all brown

I would definitely go get it check out -it doesn't sound normal. The brown blood does sound normal though. Good luck!

I had a pain on my left side too. It lasted a for about 3 weeks I think and them it went away. They said that it was where the doctor put that tool to keep your tummy open so they can get your baby out. Now the blood I don't know. It took me almost 4 months to see my period back.

I also had severe pain on my left side. I was told it's the internal stitches as they are put into a big knot! It does get better, i remember feeling much better at 3 weeks after delivery! x

I got the pain on my left side too... was a really sharp pulling type pain. It settled down after a couple of weeks. As for the bleeding I also have this.. except I get bright red blood, fades to brown, is almost gone then starts all over again. I asked my OB and he checked me and said it is just from me doing too much (oops).

Yup, the pain on your left side is from where they made the knot of the internal stitches. I could feel mine sometimes a year+ down the line (a twitching pain). I am currently 34 weeks preg and I must say I have never felt is again after becoming pregnant the second time as I was worried it will become worse when preg.

I have the same problem, but on my right side! Glad Im not the only one feeling this!
