Hey guys
Still can't quite believe I'm writing mine after reading these for so long!

Tuesday 28th Feb, I was 3 days overdue and getting really miserable so OH and a couple of friends went out for lunch then OH and I went home and watched dvds.

I wasnt tired at all so we stayed up til 3am watching crappy tv and chatting.
Got into bed and within 5 mins of sitting in bed I had my first contraction. They were five minutes apart from the beginning so OH rang the hospital. They asked to speak to me, his words were "shes a little bit hysterical" so they told us to go in. Got to hospital at 5.30am. I was 3cm dilated when I got there but cos I hadnt slept they didnt want me going home.
I decided to get in the bath and stayed in there with OH sitting next to me calming me down and keeping water warm for a couple of hours. I got out and the next few hours are a complete blur as I was completely exhausted.

I remember looking at the clock at 1.30 and thinking dear god how much longer?!
All I was using for pain relief was two heat packs! Started pushing about half 2 and at 3.33pm Pashley Hope was born. She came out looking at her daddy so had to get an episiotomy but she came out fine, if a little fast! The only time I used gas and air was when I was being stitched up but just to bite down on the mouthpiece!

She's mow 16 days old and absolutely perfect despite starting with colic the last couple of days!!

I really didnt think I'd cope with the pain and expected to have all the drugs offered to me and thought i'd end up having an emcs to be honest but I am really proud of myself for doing it all just with heat packs (which dont really do that much tbh!!).

Heres a couple of pics of her :D
