I noticed that when I nurse my son my nipples are sore at first but the pain usually subsides, but when I pump the pain just gets worse and worse. Anyone else dealing with this and what can be done to make it more bearable?

Unfortunately this is normal. It's just the hormones causing sensitivity in your nipples. Pumps are a little rougher than baby (usually) so that's probably why it hurts more to pump. I am only 4 weeks 4 days but I'm also breastfeeding my daughter. I'm not in any pain yet but am expecting that to come soon.

Mine are definitely tender, normally I have very little feeling in them unless Vincent bites me lol!

I can't pump when I'm pregnant. Within a couple of weeks of being pregnant, if not less, my let down just completely disappears. Generally I found nipple pain goes towards the end of the first tri.
