Pains in my side.. Clomid?

For the past three days I have had a slight pinch or ache in my left ovary. I ran my hand over the area and it felt a little swollen compared to the otherside but I imagine if it has been hurting for days it probably is swelling. But yesterday it was probably the most painful because every step I took I could feel it. towards the end of my work shift it was rather painful so when I got home I laid down and put a heating pad on it and the pain subsided until this morning again. The aching is much less painful today, though I still feel it when walking.

Last time this happened and I mentioned it to my dr she said it could be ovulation pain; but never confirmed it. However I always notice it on the left side, never the right.

As this is my first round of clomid and also my week of possible ovulation, could I chalk this up to ovulation pain? I go for my bloodwork on thursday. Finding myself rather impatient :/

Other information; I also have had a soreness/aching in my vagina, only when having sex. I figured if this is from the pain in my side radiating it should pass; And come to find out that when BDing last night the pain had lessened quite a bit and I was able to tolerate it much better.

Yesterday i also had a strange bout of constipation which is totally weird because since I started the metformin I have had constant diarrhea for three months (sorry tmi, awful side effect of metformin) but everything is back to 'normal' today.

ALSO I noticed today that when I sit tall I feel the pain in my back on the left now moreso then the front.

Crossing my fingers its a good sign. any ideas? thank you for reading c:

Hi Dreamery, I'm afraid I have no idea whether it is down to Clomid as I have never taken it but the symptoms you described do sound like ovulation pains. I took soy for the first time this month and had twinges in my left side all around ovulation, and now having the same again at 7po.
