The conference room on our floor is being painted Monday & Tuesday next week. My desk sits nearby the room (down 2 small hallways to the door, but the partition/"fake walls" that are being painted back up closely to my desk area. The room has zero ventilation (no windows, as it's made up of fake walls in the middle of the floor) and neither does the floor (the floor just has a few tiny windows along a hallway that only open a sliver).
I'm really worried about exposure to paint fumes. I've already made arrangements for Monday and Tuesday (the days of painting), but what about the rest of the week? How long will the paint smell and fumes be dangerous? (I don't know what kind of paint they are using; this is a "commercial" building so I'm unsure how much that differs from painting a room in a house).
