Paranoia over baby temperature?

So this our first night at home with our baby, and I'm constantly checking him (specifically his temperature). Keep checking both his forehead and ear with the digital thermometer, the room temp, and also using my hand to check his chest and back.

It's been a source of worry constantly, don't know if I'm being overly paranoid or not.... anyone with any advice?

I did the same thing when I brought my DS home. It's natural to worry over the baby.

First night home with our lo, I stayed up all night checking he was still breathing. It does get better I promise I still check if I wake in the night but I also sleep while he sleeps now as well xx
