Parent getting married at the same time?!

So my dad dropped the "we're getting married" bomb on me last night. He and his girlfriend of less than a year are planning on a wedding this coming May.

Kinda weird but if they're happy, go for it. It's just kind of weird that our engagements are overlapping so much, I guess.

Any one else does this?

I think my mum and her boyfriend are getting married this may but mines in 11 days so not too close and it will give me a reason to dress my daughter up in a pretty dress so I'm ok with it xxx
