Blah! So I just made a totally yummy Mediterranean beef stew with 2T dried parsley in it. And then, as it's sitting here simmering, I just remembered that parsley is supposed to induce miscarriage... I looked it up and sure enough, I was remembering right.

Now, I know most sites say "normal" amounts in cooking is fine - it's teas and larger amounts ingested that can be a problem. But what's normal?? This stew has the most dried parsley of just about any recipe I have... Do you all think it's ok for me to eat??

I feel completely silly asking this, btw, but after so many miscarriages I don't want to take unnecessary chances. :nope:

I've never heard of this but if it's just two tablespoons in a whole batch of soup I think you'd be fine. If you feel uncomfortable then don't eat it I guess.

I'd be in big trouble then! Lots of Italian cooking in my house, with almost every recipe using fresh parsley!
