Passing a Suture? (possible TMI)

I was six weeks post partum yesterday with my second c-section.
So this morning there is nothing on my pad except for a little brown blob, not unlike a raisin. I look more closely and I can see it is thread-like and tied in a knot. I actually untie the knot.

It was pretty gross.
Seemed to me it was a suture? I never had this with my first c-section, but I googled it and apparently it does happen?

Anyone have this experience?

I don't have any experience with this but I can see how it could happen, how strange!!

I would phone your doc to find out what their opinion is. Sounds normal enough though! Hope all is well!

thanks. it only happened today and i go for my 6 wk check tomorrow so didn't bother to call.
