Passing clots suddenly at 4 weeks postpartum?

Hi all, I gave birth to my baby girl on March 5th. Now 25 days later I feel like CRAP, it started with headaches, then a sore throat which lead to congestion... I thought it was just a simple cold, but now I am absolutely exhausted even though baby sleeps for a 6 hour chunk, eats then goes back to sleep. And this morning I woke up feeling very hot, my temperature has been fluxuating from 98.3 to 99.1, and I have a lot of tenderness in the opening of my vagina that I didn't have a few days ago. I also passed 2 large clots about an hour ago, I have had no increase in activity but have had an increase in blood now. Right now I am positively sweating, I have no clue what is going on with me.

I called my OB and am waiting to hear back, but should I be concerned?

How did you get on? It sounds like you may have retained material and and infection, I had this a week after birth they will get you sorted xx
