I suffer with pcos and im having really painful periods at the moment with huge clots passing and heavy blood so much that i cant go out far as it is just too heavy a flow ! I am in agony with period pains, and was told maybe id be better off going back on the pill? we have been ttc 4 years in a few weeks and i don't want to delay it or make things worse, but i dont know what to do? xx

Hun how far along are you in this cycle. I know what you mean I had one this last cycle just like that I got werid and though something was wrong. as far as the cramps go have you tried a heating pad or some pain meds to help. I am not sure about the bcps though as you are trying to get pregnant. I would look into some herbs if I were you. I take a few my self to help out with all the pain and heavy bleeding.

im only on cd2 and the pains are horrible and i cant move for bleeding xxx

yes hun can you make it to your bath room. I would take a hot bath for about twenty or thrity mins. and see how it works for you.

Hi..i get bad pains too ...what helps me are painkillers and very mild sedatives,just enough to let me pass out for a couple of hours,the worst.You know some OTC pills /cough syrups have those kind of composition.Or else i couldnt survive those days.And when u sleep through the worst and get up..maybe u can take a hot bath,hold some water against your lower abdomen.

Sometimes M********* helps too.

cd2 is always my worst day too hun - just like you are describing. As gross as it feels I do have frequent hot baths on those days and tkae meds to make me pass out.

Its horrible isn't it! i have to literally run to the bathroom! i dont have a bath we have a walk in shower instead i miss a bath lol xxx

i have that each month too and its hideous doc was able to give me medication called mefenamic acid and it helps stem the bleeding, so worth going to see the doc to discuss your options.
i find a water bottle to sleep with really helps too xx

i had periods like what your talking about before i went on bcp at 15, and every time i stopped taking them they would come back. they are getting better now, but my march and april periods came with lemon sized clotting and so much pain. my suggetion is to make sure you arent using tampons at all of you can, hot water bottle or heating pad, sedatives and warm baths. angus castus has really really helped regulate me out and my last 3 periods have been okay, the last one as close to enjoyable as your period can be...As long as you can walk back and forth to the restroom without making a mess and your clots are smaller than lemons the doctor will only say the pill, or at least that was my experience. and TBH i think all it does is mask it until its out of your system and it will start right back up again...so sorry your going through this!
