Hi all,

I was diagnosed with PCOS nearly 2 years ago now, to try clomid I have to lose weight (next gyn app 0ct) I have lost 2 and a half stone so far, only 18lbs to go since june I had 2 regular periods, the second one I took lasted for 3 weeks, I called gyn and she said it will be because of the weight loss, just my body doing its thing. if it does come regular this time its not due until Monday, last week I had brownish pinkish stretchy discharge only when I wiped, sorry tmi! this week nothing just clear and stretchy, could his have been implantation? any suggegstions would be great, tia xx

Could have been. Or ovulation bleed. Either way - good luck!! & hooray for ovulating on your own!!! I know how exciting that can be!

thank you, did you ever experience small pinkish tissue flakes? x

I've had a pinkish streak during ovulation. Didn't have an implantation bleed with dd so can't comment on that. I've had very light periods with what look like small red bits of tissue. Not sure about flakes though.

Do you do anything else to track OV? Opks or bbt? I track bbt so I always know exactly where I am in my cycle - helps me enormously!! Others find it a bit stressful though - you have to do whatever's best for you.

I used to track bbt and do the wee ovulation sticks but it was far too much pressure and disappointment so I just try and go with my body now but I've never experienced what I did last week which is why I was wondering what it could be, time will tell I suppose, thank you xx

Hi there :hi:

Im in exactly the same position as you, I have started having my periods since starting metformin in May. But I now need to lose some weight before my next Gynae appointment in October too :flower:
