Period 4 days late, all negative tests?

The last time my period was 4 days late I tested and got a positive. However, 2 weeks later I went through a miscarriage. My periods haven't been 100% regular since but are 1-2 days late or early, so not too bad. Well, last month I was 4 days early. I only bled normal about 4 days but then spotted for 6, making it a 10 day period. I never had that happen before. Now this month I am 4 days late. I have been testing like crazy since the day after my period was late and all tests have been negative. I'm so confused. Can anyone give me some advice?

You probably ovulated later than you thought. Try again in a week.
