Hi everyone!!

So, as of today, my period is 9 days late, and every pregnancy test I've taken has been negative (I've been using the strips that you dip in a small cup of urine for 5 seconds). I used to be on the BC pill, but since I got off about 4-5 months ago, I've been tracking my cycles using the NaturalCycles app and it's been correct or maybe 2 days off. What's going on? I have sensitive nipples (and my boobs look bigger! woot), cramps (I've actually been cramping since Oct. 16th, I thought AF was coming early!), metallic taste in my mouth (have no idea if it's connected, but it happened about a week ago and it's weird), PMS style moodiness, and discharge (like "wetness", no odor or anything strange to it. It's like sexual arousal wetness). I do have to point out that I do have PCOS (which could be the reason), but my periods have been regular AND I feel absolutely miserable. I'd love some advice.

Perhaps it's time to either buy a more sensitive pregnancy test, or else go to the physician to get a blood test drawn?? It's always possible that you didn't O, though you can check your charts and if you do OPKs, to see if it happened this month. I was a few days late last month and did read about a ton of people who never test positive even when they're pregnant; something about not excreting it in the urine??

Regardless, keep waiting it out, and testing. Eventually one thing will happen. And see a physician if it's been a long time.

I wouldn't read too much into those symptoms. Your body could be still trying to figure things out. I know those first few months off BCP I felt like I was pregnant every cycle and I wasn't ever.

You may want to try asking your GP to take a blood test to test for pregnancy.
