period is late and i'm not pregnant?

My period is 10 days late!
I've done 5 pregnancy tests over the last 10 days (which has cost me £50!!!) and all are negative.
I was on the pill up until last month, I didn't come off it to get preggers I just forgot I had none left and so I haven't took it for a month waiting for the first day of my next period to start it again like doc told me to!
I haven't even had sex without a condom so deffo not pregnant but don't know what it is? I just want it to come so I can stop worrying

Suddenly stopping the pill can cause this hun, i had been taking the combined pill for 3 years and it took 6 weeks for a period to arrive when i stopped taking it.

When I've stopped taking the pill in the past to get pregnant my periods have been really irregular, it can take a while for them to go back to normal. I quite often had 6 weeks without a period, then other times I'd have one every couple of weeks!
