period late, brown discharge??? :/ need advice

why would my period be 4 days late?? I started today with brownish pink discharge, just enough for a panty liner. only when i wipe do i notice it! Ive also had cramps for 8 days in a row. this is not like my normal cycle at all! what could be going on!??

Have you tested? That would be a good starting point. If you have tested and you got a BFN there are a couple reasons AF could be late: stress, illness, etc. Or you tested too soon.
