Period pains no period after D&C

I started with really strong period pains about 24 hours ago but so far there is no actual bleeding.
It will be 6 weeks on Wednesday since my D&C my periods beforehand were all over the place naturally (conceived on chlomid)
I googled my symptoms earlier and ashermans has come up I am now terrified that damage has been done during the process.

Has anyone experienced anything similar. Xx

Im hoping everything is okay now, but I have dealt with the same thing. I had a normal period for five months after my D&C then 5 months with out one. Now finally today I got one. I would not worry if I were you. A lot of women take 8 weeks to get their period after a D&C. I too fear that I have Ashermans. So, you're not alone.

Ashermans is actually quite rare, and I've had multiple medical professionals tell me now that it's more commonly found in women who have had multiple D&Cs. It's almost unheard of in first-timers, though it CAN happen. Try not to stress about it too much. My phlebotomist told me her first post-D&C AF was very painful, but she went on to have no further problems, and had two girls later in life.
