Periods irregular

Hi

My baby is now 3 months and is bottle fed. I have had 2 normal periods. This month I’m on day 17 of my cycle and I’m having brown/pinkish discharge sorry tmi. I do have long cycles just wondering how long it took for your period to become regular again. I have red it’s normal for breast feeding women to have irregular periods but I don’t breast feed? I had a smear two weeks ago and came back ok. Just bit worried x

I breastfed and when I did start to get my period again, I had a pretty irregular cycle until it started to mellow out. It would jump between 47 to 28 days.
