Hello, ladies! I am 36 weeks and 5 days with baby number 1, and I have been experiencing BH for a while now. This morning starting around 8 am, I have been having these persistent menstrual-like cramps that won't go away or ease up all across my pelvis and lower abdomen accompanied by lower back pain. Anyone else experience this before?

I am no expert, as pregnant with my first too, but could possibly be BH or early labour? Maybe give your midwife a call & describe it to them to ease your mind?

I left a message with my OB and am waiting to hear back. I don't want to get my hopes up that it's labor only to be disappointed... or go to the hospital for nothing. Thank you!

Drink some water eat some thing and lay down or shower if that doesn't fix it then get checked

This is how my labour started :happydance: I had menstrual pains for a few days and then they developed into contractions where they were unmistakably contractions (real toe curling pain!!). May be the start for you x

I've had this for weeks and weeks and Im over due. . Its common when your body is adjusting a few months before labour x
