I'm trying to doa budget so would be majorly helpful if someone could tell me how much photographers actually cost xx

It really depends. There are some that charge as little as £300, some as much as £3000. Google photographers in your area, and if they dont have prices on their website, send off for their information packs. Then you can whittle down a shortlist of who you want to meet to see if you get on with them (very important as they will be a big part of your day)

My photographer cost us just over £1000.

This included all day photography (from getting ready, through to dinner), 1 large mounted album, the prints, a webpage with the piccies on for a year.

like boof said you can really spend as little or as much as you want. we found our photographer at a wedding fayre

We aren't having a photographer as such we have a friend with a really good camera so he's doing it for £100 and we will get the pics on a cd

i too would recommend wedding fayres - they give you a good guide price - though ours is all done differently

That venue is lovely hun! Our photographer is costing us £500 for two photographers and between 500 - 1000ish photos on disk x

Ooo its gorgeous!

As said above it really varies.
We initially picked a bloke out who for £680 did the whole day plus a big album full of the pictures - no copyright though (VERY important!!)

But we've now gone with somebody else who's pictures are 100x nicer - very modern for £750 and that comes on a copyright free disk - no album.

It really depends on what you want x

Katy, My OH is a wedding photographer hun. He has a deal on atm from £299 for the whole day, thats getting ready through to the first dance...you get all pics (approx 600) on disc with an option to add on an album/photobook

Well, as we're having a Feb wedding the usual civil ceremony fee of £500 is being waived. They also have an offer on the food, in that if you pay for the bronze package you can pick the food from the silver package, saving just over £10pp on the food. We also get the bridal suite and two other guest bedrooms for free.

So for us, the only costs are food and drink. Approx £30pp on the wedding breakfast, £14pp on the drinks, then £15pp on the evening buffet xx
