Picture from iphone 3gs

So i have a iphone 3gs and wanted to know if there is any possible way of getting a picture off my phone on here to put as my avatar/display picture.. X

I think the only way is to transfer it via your computer then upload from there

Might be worth seeing if theres a photobucket app for the Iphone and do it that way?
I know theres one for Android..
