I'm trying to make my OH traditional pie mash and liquor from scratch.

I can make the pie and mash fine but I cannot do the liquor. I'm following the recipe line by line but it's not going right! It's too thick and it's not green!

HELP please

Xxx

Ah like gravy. Try a teaspoon of corn flour, it thickens most things.

I'm a big pie, mash and liquor fan, cornflour is the key to thicken it up. It's not supposed to be green green if that makes sense. It's more of a very very pale green with the parsley visible. You won't get the pies how they are in the shops as they're specially made x

This has eel juice in traditionally. The shops use this liquor from the
Jellied eels they sell.
