Pink discharge @ 35 weeks

Sorry for sounding so dumb and this question probably got asked hundreds of times...

Anyway went to the loo as was busting, after wiping saw some light pink discharge on TP - i feel like bubs head is so low down that she might "drop out" at any moment

All day i've been feeling shooting pains in my cervix and been having tightenings on and off - i didnt have any pink discharge with my DD1 and had her at 36w as hind waters broke and contractions started soon after with no warning...

On Friday at my growth scan they said that bubs head was low and they wont think i'll make it past 38w due to having possible gestational diabetes and bubs measuring quite big

Can this be the start of things? i dont wanna get my hopes up as i keep being paranoid thinking that i may be leaking down there, so popped a pad on - last time i went in thinking that my waters had gone only to be told it was discharge

EDIT: got some mild cramping and lower back ache - gonna wait another few hours and see what happens

This to me sounds like it's definitely the start of something! Keep a close eye on it, and maybe start engaging in some activities to help labor start or progress!

I had the same about a week ago and nothing developed from there. It's still probably a sign of your body gearing up though. My MW said to just keep an eye on it but that it doesn't necessarily mean anything is going to happen right away. GL!

Pink discharge? Yes sounds very likely it's happening. I'd phone in now as you're only 35 weeks and its pretty early for things to happen.

Well havent had any more pink discharge its more like watery/white discharge and still getting shooting pains in cervix.

Went out for a walk today with LO just to keep active and hopefully make bubs come soon, dont wanna ring the hospital as probably get told its nothing if im not having regular contractions

I dont think they'd say it's nothing hun. You've had pink discharge at 35 weeks which is pretty early and tightenings. Id phone just to be sure but only you know how you feel. X
