Pink spotting 33 weeks :(

I had a bit of a fright last night.

I had walked into town on my lunch (which I don't normally do) then for the rest of the afternoon bottom of my stomach felt a bit tender.

Got home and went I went to loo and wiped there was watery pink on the tissue.

Rushed straight to maternity unit and they hooked me up onto monitoring machine.

Baby was fine, nice heartbeat variation and movement. No sign of contractions.

They also did an internal and cervix is close, no sign of anymore bleeding up there.

Went to loo another 2 times at hospital and no pink bleeding at all.

Was at home for a few hours and no spotting, went to loo in middle of the night though and there was some more pink, been to loo about 4 times since then and no more pink....

Baby is moving around like normal.

I'm just so worried now thought cause it's not knowing what the cause is....they said it could be burst blood vessles.

Anyone else experienced this?

havent experienced this, but hope all is ok, sounds like it is what they say, a burst blood vessel.

esp if there isnt loads of it, i know that when you see any pink, blood colour down there you do panic.

I had this with DS.

They said it was an eroded cervix so everytime me & DH got busy I had a slight bleed. It was pinkish, none on pants but was there when I wiped. Also, exercise brought it on as well i.e walking.

So far, it hasn't happened in this pregnancy & no one mentioned having an eroded ervix being a problem this time around.

I had this much earlier on in the pregnancy. The midwives didn't seem bothered by it and after a checkup told me all was ok and to only worry if there is actual blood. The cause of mine was a low lying placenta. Have you been carrying anything heavy or overdoing things in general? I would probably take a day off, put your feet up and rest. x

No spotting so far this morning...I wonder if I just over did it with the walking yesterday an aggrovated my cervix or something.

i always walk slow as when i walk anywhere!! cant walk fast anyway hahahaha!!

No I've brought dinner today so just going to stay at desk for lunch which is what I normally do these days.

I had spotting in early pregnancy hun and they never knew why.. as long as its not heavy and baby seems fine you being monitored it prob just the cervix being aggrovated.

It is scary i know hun.. I find i had it from around week 10 on and off up until about week 16 and i had sex and found i had a bleed afterward it scared life out of me, there was never any reason why..

Just keep an eye on things it may just be you over did things a little..I find when i over do things i get LOADS of CM so it could be just over doing things..

Hope you are ok though its scary you did right thing going hospital

My midwife told me it's common to spot more near the end of pregnancy as everything is getting ready

I haven't had anymore pink spotting since the middle of last night now and baby is very active today....do you think all is well and it was just one of those things?
