Hi there I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I'm hoping for some advice, I had my scan today and they said my placenta was low but not too low,I asked if there was anything I shouldn't do and they said no allnshould be fine, when I checked my notes it said placenta reaching os , and repeat scan at 34 weeks so I'm unsure if its nothing to be worrying about or if I should be avoiding things like lifting, exercise and bedroom naughties  I hope some of you can give me some advise , thank you in advance .

i had the same at my 12 week scan, i was assured 90% move by 20 weeks, and there is only a tiny % that dont move by week 30something...FXd yours moves too, i find out on 4th april if mine has moved at all....xxxxx

They never mentioned it at my 12 weeks scan and I had bleeding the day before my 12 week scan I wonder if it was connected even tho they said they didn't inkstand I was bleeding ,it stopped and not had any since. Was you advised not to do anything?

i had an emergency scan due to bleeding the day before my 12 week(dating)scan...i had a few days of red/brown spotting, this is when they discovered my low placenta. they said it may be due to the low placenta detatching then reattatching itsself, wasnt advised to stop anything...many women are advised no heavy lifting no :sex: after a low placenta diagnosis...i googled it as id never heard of it, i got scared as it means c-sec if it doesnt move...but i am pretty sure it will move up as most do...especially as mine is reaching not covering OS....xxx

I don't mind the c section as I'm assuming I will have to have one any way as Ive already had two c sections It just seems scary as I googled it as the Sonographer didn't seem to want to give me much advise on it and I don't see my midwife for 7 weeks ,

yeah i know what you mean about scary when you googled it...i did the same, but just hang on to the thought that it should/will move and if it doesnt they keep scanning you to keep an eye on its position! if need be they will make you stay in hospital for the last bit of pregnancy and deliver baby by c-sec...i have my FXd that both ours move! xxx:hugs:
