Placental problems

I wonder can anyone help me, after 2 big scans they weren't clear and I had a doppler scan on my arteries and placenta last week that seemed to be ok but with a different doctor this week she said it doesn't look healthy and the blood flow isn't great. Baby is only measuring 20 weeks so not even viable yet and there seems to be some thickening on one side of it's heart. Poor lil thing must be struggling to get oxygen....The doctor just said to wait and see when it will die because she cant see it surviving (im sure she said it in more delicate terms but I cant remember)
My question is have you or anyone you know gone through this? I've just started to show and people asking about the pregnancy I dont know how Im going to answer without crying

Your baby IS viable and they should be doing everything they can to help him/her even if things don't look good.

I would be finding a new OB and quick! They shouldnt just "wait and see", thats so sad theyd even say that.

I had 2 different opinions but they just dont know whats happening. I have another scan on Monday so questions will be definately be asked
