Please post your second trimester spotting stories

I had some light spotting yesterday at 15 weeks. Never spotted in the first trimester of this pregnancy. My previous miscarriages were early (6-8 weeks). With two of my miscarriages, I never even spotted. I went to the ER and the ultrasound was fine. Baby is ok. Placenta is anterior and "up and away from the cervix." They didn't see a source of bleeding on the ultrasound and I had not had sex for six days before the spotting began. At first it was brown but then one spot was red so I went to the ER. I never had any pain and now the spotting is gone. They ruled out a bladder infection too. Anyone else have early second trimester spotting without spotting in the first trimester?

Yep I did from week 16-24 and they kept telling me there was no reason so anyway finally a doctor decided to do an internal and it was thrush and it was causing irratation and bleeding!!

I had a little blood last Tuesday but I think it was from being constipated and straining too hard

I called the midwife just to let her know, and she told me to go in if it continued but it hasn't. As a precaution, I put myself on pelvic rest until I go in for my monthly checkup next week. Little guy is rolling and kicking up a storm so I know he's okay for now. Good luck!
