For the past 14 months everyday I go on all the websites looking at maternity wear....am I a total freak? It makes me really sad when I look as I get jealous (I sound like a fruit loop haha) but I still keep looking?

You're not a fruit loop! maybe a honey nutter instead lol!!

I don't look at maternity wear, but i have decided what my nursery is going to look like, my son and daughters names (including middle) and just about everything else!!

FX for you that you will be wearing all the maternity clothes you want v soon x x

I havent done clothes but I look at names and frequently walk down the baby aisle mentally taking a note of what I'd buy, buggy and cot prices, toys, nappies etc..

The worst thing of all that I do...I steal my nephew and take him out and pretend he's mine! :^o:wacko::blush:

Good practice though..We've had him overnight since he was 3 weeks old. Smug friends of mine with children didnt think I'd cope but I flew through it and loved every minute. Of course we had the next day to sleep and they didnt..hehehe:happydance:

Aphrodite - i do the same with my nephew! He's just over a year old. I haven't had him over night but I steal him quite often!

My husband has got 2 boys from previous relationships age 7 and 4,we have them every other weekend so I get to practice on them! I think that makes it worse cause I know I'll be a good mum :(

My nephew is 10 months old (wow really?) and is beautiful-I was at a bus stop once and this lady said 'is he yours?' and I found myself saying Yes!!! It felt nice....

20 months. We're just starting the ICSI process, hopefully for around May next year. Male FF. How about u??x

definitely not a freak, if you were.... okay, i'd be sent to a looney house by now. my cousin's wife got pregnant, bought maternity clothes, and you know what i did? i put them on. and shoved a blanket in the shirt. man, did i look cute pregnant. (about the jealousy, ohhhh i know how that feels. especially since this is her fourth and i can't even get ONE to get in my bellay!)

i was also tempted to buy a cute, little, pink baby carriage i saw at tj maxx - awesome deal! that place is great. anyway, the dh wants a little girl, because he has a little boy... i picked it up, and had to MAKE myself put it down because i was only in there to get a nice work shirt/suit for dh's new job.

when i take my step-son to places, everyone assumes i am his mother. i don't correct them. i am a nut! you are fine, really. but looking at maternity clothes was the beginning of my looney phase ;P

You aren't alone. I don't go online, but I always "accidentally" browse through the maternity section if I'm out shopping. I linger a little in the baby section as my husband rolls his eyes at me. I have tons of nieces and nephews and all the practice I need. I'm ready for my own.

Actually my little brother is 5 so I am more than old enough to be his Mother at 26-especially where we live! But it feels weirder than the baby. I suppose its only because I havent 'started from scratch' as it were like with my nephew. Either way its still good practice with him and my nephew!
