Hi i am new to this website and i wud really like to hear any success stories to try and give myself some faith back because to be quite frank i am really starting to loose faith now! I am starting my clomid on wednesday, i have been trying for 4 years and have been diagnosed with endometriosis i have been told that there is no reason why we cannot conieve naturally, i have been put on 100mg cd2 to cd6.

Hi hun i dont realy have a sucssess story ive been trying to conceive for 5 years i also have pcos but i did take clomid for 6 cycles and got pregnant twice but unfourtunatly it ended up being chemical so i dident even have time to be excited.

is this your first cycle on clomid?

yes its my first cycle this month, what mg was you put on?

Hi, I am on round 3 of clomid, 50 mg cd 2-6, I have pcos and under active thyroid.. I did get pregnant a year ago without any help but then my body decided to stop ovulating, so my gp started me on clomid....
If you look at the success section in LTTC there are some good Clomid BFP outcomes, we just need to keep the faith lol which is harder said than done!

Hi girls, just wanted to share my story. I was put on clomid in March this year because I wasn't ovulating and my husband and I had been trying for 18 months.
I was put on 50mg and it worked as I ovulated on the first go. So we had 4 months of trying with the clomid, but it didn't happen. I felt really down because I thought it would happen straight away! I also suffered from hyperstimulation on the 4th round as I was given the HCG injection when I had already started to ovulate. I don't think everyone is offered the follicle scans and injections, I was only offered this after I'd been on it for 2 months.

Anyway after all the stress and trying and visiting the hopitals, doctors and consultants I think I got to the end of my tether and just said to my DH I need a break. So we went on holiday and typically :af: appeared just to make me feel even worse. So we decided to take a break from trying completely. I didn't take the clomid (I'd been taking it on days 2-5) and we only did it when we felt like it and I'm amazed and pleased to say when my period didn't arrive I took a test to find out I was pregnant! I still can't quite believe it now but I'm over half way through. I also started going for acupuncture after 2 months on clomid as an addition to my treatment and I really believe this helped my little bean stick.

I just wanted to share my story to say I know its difficult, and there are people who have been trying a lot longer than I have, but I believe stress and worrying plays a big part in not being able to conceive. Some may even have to go down the IVF route - I have a friend who tried for 7 years and had IVF twice and is now pregnant. I wanted to say don't give up and lots of baby dust to you all, I really hope it happens for you because I know what it feels like to want a baby so much and think you're not going to be able to have one.

Good Luck xx

Hi amy, I conceived on my 3rd round of clomid. 50mg. I didn't believe it was going to work at all and found it a real shock (a nice one of course) when I fell. Did 4 pregnancy tests before I'd believe it! I hope you have some success with the drugs, try to keep your chin up, I know it's difficult, in fact probably the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. Best of luck.

these stories really do give me hope...im currently on my 1st cycle of clomid, 50mg days 2-6....we have been ttc for 16 mths and altho i appeared to be ov ok my fs put me on clomid as all my tests came bk clear....any one that got a bfp whilst taking clomid that was ovulating b4 they took the clomid?? i started this cycle sooo positive as was excited about the clomid but im thinking will it make any difference if i was ov b4 anyway? had follicular scanning this mth and it showed 1 nice big follicule that def ovulated as there was fluid in the uterus which apparently is a sign and looking at the ovary the follicule had gone....af due next wed and im not feeling hopeful, just down :( xx

Hi Dancing Katy, I was ovulating before I took clomid. That's why I didn't believe it was going to work but it clearly did something. Best of luck, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I'm getting ready to start my first round, too, and I want to say thank you to the people who replied! I feel better, too:)
