I'm thinking about buying a poddle pod for Freya. At a cost of £40-£50 I want to make sure they are worth it.

If you have one do you recommend? What do you find them useful for?

I had to google to see what it was. I'm buying something sort of similar for my next baby, a baby bean bag. It's a lot bigger than the poddle pod but I guess goes along the same lines.

I've never used the Poddlepod, but we had the Leachco Podster and loved it.

Yes, I really can't recommend it enough.

W loves hers, she has since day one. It makes her feel nice and secure and it's comfy for her to sleep on in the day or just have a kick about if she's not on the floor on her mat. I sit it next to me on the sofa for her naps in the day and it doesn't move and keeps her snug. I take upstairs for her after her bath to kick about aswell whilst I get ready for bed.

It's honestly the best thing I bought xxx

We tried a sleepyhead deluxe (similar to poddlepod) with my ds after hearing really good things about them but sadly he didn't take to it. I think he liked to spread out when sleeping and this restricted him too much. We didn't try it until 6 weeks old though, maybe if we had it from day one he might have liked it. Also it said suitable up until 8 months but there is no way it would last that long so in my opinion not worth the hefty price tag.

I got a toddlepod when DD was a baby and we got sooo much use out of it, it was well worth the money!

We have been using ours almost 4 weeks and LOVE it! Ds2 sleeps so well in it he's so content and comfortable I would defo recommend from sleep perspective but I noticed the sleepyhead pod can be opened at the bottom to extend how long you can use it. Wish I'd known this before getting the poddle pod. That's the only down side for us it's quite small so won't last to 6 months.

We have been borrowing a poddle pod off a friend and our youngest loves it. Our daughter is titchy (under 7lb at 5 weeks old now) so it will be used for longer than most babies. A lot of people recommend getting the toddle pod to get your money's worth. My brother got us a toddle pod as a gift and I'm so grateful.
