Last night I'm lucky if I managed to get 3 hours sleep as I pee'd about 40 times (no joke) but just a tiny dribble at a time, infact the whole day yeaterday I was litterally on the toilet all day! I don't have a UTI as I have has my urine tested and it is totally clear.

Last night however I noticed what felt like a popping sensation round about where my cervix is. I have felt it again this morning only stronger. At first I thought it was my waters going but nothing leaking so can't be.

I have also been really really crampy for the last few days and having snot (jellyish) discharge, just little bits tho (again tmi)

Anyone else had this? :flow: x

I have been getting this too!!! I have absolutely no idea what it is, kind of feels almost like little bubbles of air inside of me, but we havent dtd so I have no idea how it would have gotten inside of me!! I have also had an increase of discharge too, almost mine is clear and snotty, no blood or colour to it at all!! Although as I said I know how you feel, I can be of any use as to what it is!! Sorry!!!

Hehehe!!! Us 2 again!!! lol These babies must be cooked already!!

I am so ready for this little bub to come along!! I am going to do final baby wash today and tomo my dh and I are going to practice with the car seat and travel system whilst I insist I want bub early and my dh insisting he cant come early as it would mess up his leave!! Never mind, I bet we will both be here come the beginning of August and cursing that we have gone overdue and feeling bigger and more whale like than ever!!!!!!!

Maybe little hiccups from baby?? if the head has engaged slightly then they might feel less vigorous and be like little taps or bubbles??

Oh no, don't even joke about it!!! lol x

I know a week ago Thursday bub was 4/5 engaged. But hiccups feel different! I have another mw appointment on this Thurs, I will speak to her about it I think!

Yeah, I still feel hiccups but this is different for me too. Will be interesting to know what she says x

Yeah I will let you know. Its such a weird sensation, I am surprised more people havent had it as well. The other day I felt a bubble and heard a little pop at the same time, like you I thought oh lordy is this my waters and I was too afraid to stand up just in case I flooded the floor!!! My midwife has already joked I seem to be retaining so much water I may need an umbrella when my waters go!
Dont worry about making it to August, there is a full moon on the 26th July, apparently the changes in the tide etc start alot of women off, I think that day I will be doing all the walking, bouncing, dtd that I can!!

This is something that has puzzled my best friend since giving birth to her two babies 4 & 6 years ago. On both occasions, shortly before going into labour, she felt a 'pop'. She thought that it was her waters but it wasn't and has remained a mystery every since as to what it was.

So....maybe labour is round the corner for you both :)

I had this last week! It was only once or twice though rather than a frequent thing. I had gotten it into my head (based upon absolutely nothing) that it felt like baby was trying to burrow his head and it kinda 'popped' out. That was completely untrue (like i said it was based upon nothing) as midwife has since said i was 3/5ths engaged. Not had it this week though. I think you are both going to go early by the sounds of it .......and then i will be insanely jealous! I've not had any jelly stuff (turned into an obsessive knicker checker!) but the cramps are definately getting worse. I was really hoping for an early baby (37-39 weeks) but starting to believe i am going to be one of the 2 week overdue people :-(

Ahhh emma, dont worry, its usually the people who you think are going to go early do the whole two weeks late thing!!!! Because of all the bleeding I have had my mw didnt even think I would make it to 37 weeks and well we are only 6 days away from being classed as term!! Looks like I will be making it!

Yip, I will probably still be hanging on here waiting to be induced in August!!! lol Everyone has said to me there is no way I'm making it full term but knowing me I'll prove them all wrong. Have been on my ball a lot today and going out for a big walk with hubby later so you never know!!!

My hopes are well and truly up about the whole popping thingy now, I know I shouldn't but I can't help it!!!! xx

Just out of interest what do you do on your ball? I have mine but do little on it other than lay across it to ease my back! fx the walk does something....

I sit on it and bounce up and down, roll back and forward, side to sode and round in circles (like hula hoop!!) My MW told us at antenatal that it opens the pelvis an gets baby into the optimum birthing position making labour easier and quicker!! As soon as I heard that I dragged the ball ut of the loft and have been on it everyday from 32 weeks!!! lol

ah ha! Thanks for that - getting mine out now.......it will keep me occupied whilst dh is watching ghost busters!

im not getting a ball this time, i had one last time and i had literally nowhere to store it hahaha, im gna just sit on the edge of my bed and bounce there :haha:

OOOoooo, maybe I shall invest in one sooner rather than later!!! My neighbour was going to lend me hers, I asked about a month ago and I still havent got it so I may just buy one!!

Well I got one from Argos ages and ages ago, used it once got fed up with it and put it in the loft. It wasn't until the MW showed us how to use it in pregnancy I thought I'd send DH up for it!!! I got it as part of a set, weights, mat etc but I think you can buy them on their own for about £10. Well worth it if you ask me. I fnd it really comfy just to sit on if my back gets sore on the couch.

Went for a walk earlier and it seemed to take forever to get round! Kept getting really bad shooting/period pains low down and my tummy was rock hard so we'll see what happens. If nothing else I feel great for getting some fresh air! xx
