Anyone care to share their recipes for making porridge fingers or balls?

Id like to know about the porridge balls too.

To make porridge fingers I put porridge oats in a flat bowl and pour over enough milk to wet them so they go a little soft. Mash the milk into them a bit. You can add any fruit you want eg grated pear, apple, mashed soft berries, raisins. You could put cinnamon or whatever on it too if you want to add a bit more flavour.
Either pop in microwave for a few mins, I copied the BLW recipe but my microwave nuked em!! I just keep an eye now depending how much I'm making.

Or put the mix in an oven proof dish and bake at a moderate heat (again I just keep an eye). I think its 160 on my oven.

Leave to cool, then cut in fingers

Porridge fingers

3tbsp porridge oats
3tbsp milk

Cover oats with milk, allow to soak in, microwave for 2 mins (800w), allow to cool n cut into fingers

Thanks! That's pretty much what I did. They were a big hit! SO much easier than actual porridge as she is still getting the hang of the spoon and much prefers things she can just pick up and eat.

I did find a few recipes for the balls, but didn't try them as things in stick shapes still work a bit better.
