Okay so i'm really confused about OPKs now.

So is it a positive if the left line is light and the right line is dark or does that mean your nearing ovulation? Or do they both have to be dark?

Its all so confusing isn't it?!?! :dohh:

From my experience, it is totally what is says on the packet.... I don't mean to give you a 'cop out' answer!

I have used ones which say that a line on the left has to appear for there to be an LH surge, it doesn't matter if it is faint or the same colour (It was faint one day, dark the next, faint the next)

I have also used ones which say that the left line has to be equal in colour for it to have a positive result.

I am now using cb digital. I can't argue with a O:) !!

I think that if there is any sign of a line... whether it be faint or dark, you should get :sex: right away!!!!!

Hope this helps. XX

A opk is only positive when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line! so the left has to be as dark or darker than the right! This is becasue we ALWAYS have LH in our system so unless your pee is diluted than you will always see a faint line on the left!
