Positive Caesarian birth story

Hi ladies,

Just to let you all know I had my baby son on Tuesday and he's healthy and perfect

I had my elective c section at 38+6 weeks and it was a beautiful experience, so much nicer than I expected. The theatre team were warm and caring and made me feel cared for. They put me at ease during my operation and even let me cuddle my son as soon as he was born rather than making me wait till I was in recovery

Logan James was much smaller than predicted weighing a healthy 7Ib 12 and is a really contented little guy.

3 days on my scar is sore but I feel much better than I expected, I seem to be recovering so much quicker than I did when I had my emergency section with my daughter and had been through almost a full labour before my operation.

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better birth experience and having my son here safe is the best thing in the world.

To all of you who are worried about the prospect of an elective section please don't, it can still be a nice birth experience.

reading this as made me feel better, i was told other day i will defo be avin a section coz of my low layin placenta, this is my 3rd baby, had other 2 naturally, so abit disapointed about section but nothing i can do about it x
