Positive LH surge and positive HCG test on day #1 of next period

Hi everyone! My husband and I just started trying to conceive 2 weeks ago. I just started tracking my LH surge less than a week ago. It has been negative until today. I got a positive LH surge and a positive HcG result today. Today is supposed to be day #1 of my period! What do you think this means? I have not started my period yet. I have read on a few different sites that a positive LH surge can really be a positive HcG result since LH and HcG are "sister hormones". I'm sure I could just wait a few more days and see if I am really pregnant, but I wanted to get y'all's insight! Thanks in advance!

Yes you will get a positive OPK test if pregnant also. If your pregnancy test is positive then indeed you have a BFP.
