Positive opk before positive hcg?

Hello ladies! My husband and I have been ttc for nearly a year now. I have three children from my previous marriage and never had any issues conceiving but my husband had testicular cancer about 7 years ago so he's 1 short of a pair 😜. I've been tracking my ovulation every month with opk' since January, but yesterday and today I've had two very dark test lines that showed up before the control lines did. I took a hcg and it was negative. I am 9 dpo. Had a positive opk on cd14, then super faint lines since then. Now this. Have any of you experienced this? Did you get af soon after or a bfp?
