Positive opk on cd8

I had a positive opk (clear blue digital) today on cd8. I took clomid cd3-7. Can clomid affect a false positive opk? Is it even possible to ovulate on cd8 after taking clomid just a few days ago?? Thanks!

Yes clomid will mess with the results..you should wait at least 3-4 days after taking your last clomid pill before you get an accurate reading.
