Positive OPK!!

Yay!
So...this is my first month using an OPK, and I'm excited. Fertility Friend predicted that I would ovulate on the 9th of January, but I've ben testing for two days, and this evening I got a strong positive OPK!
Here's the weird thing, though, I figured that FF would be right on target with my ovulation because I've had very little EWCM...a little bit, but not very stretchy and not very abundant either. What do you think??

When I tested yesterday with the OPK at noon, I got a negative result. I tested again today at 5:30pm and got two lines of equal darkness (the surge line might even have been slightly darker).
My plan is to pretty much have sex as much as possible (2-3 times per day) for the next two days.
Any other suggestions???

I would def BD as much as possible since the opk is positive! But too, I would test with the opk at the same time each day to get better results. Have lots of fun BDing!!! Lot of

Thanks everyone!! Do you think we should try to BD as much as 3 times a day? Or is that too much and counterproductive? I'm finding it hard to NOT want to BD every 6 hours, now that I finally see those two beautiful lines.
Oh...how I long to see two lines when I take an HPT!!!

I tested again this morning and the test line was much darker than the control line! Any thoughts on when I might ovulate, based on the fact that I had a regular positive test at 5pm yesterday and a very dark positive this morning??

I wouldn't test in the mornings because your urine is too concentrated. I did that a couple weeks ago since it was the only time I could really test and for a week straight I got all positives. I am telling you, you need to test at the same time everyday. I would think a good time would be around 10:00ish. And be sure not to drink much 2 hours before. If you have already started to test around 5:00pm, then continue to do so from that time. I really want you to get that BFP!!! And not go through what I did with the opks. BDing multiple times everyday can't hurt, but give your man some time to build up those sperm! I am very excited for you! And I am sure you will get ALOT of BDing in on your trip!!! Lots of !!!!

Ack! I think I may have overdone it with the BDing....DH is...err having problems....Which he never has had before. This morning, he was like "ummm..twice yesterday evening....I can't this morning...and when we tried, sure enough...he couldn't". No problem, I told him, and he said we'll try later. Then this afternoon, I felt ovulation pains. He came home at 5:30 and we tried again...and even then, it was tough for him. Eventually it worked out, but I have serious doubts as to the effectiveness of this round of BDing....
