Positive thoughts, starting second round of Clomid.

Checking back in. First round of Clomid was not a success. No ovulation. No period. Started Provera on CD95 to start my period, and my Doctor upped my Clomid prescription to 100mg. So just waiting for my period to start now so that I can start my second round of Clomid.

One question, does anyone know if taking the Clomid CD2-CD6 or CD5-CD9 would be different, or if one date is better?

Feeling less hopeful this time around because nothing happened at all last time.

I read that you get more eggs if you do 2-6 but you get better quality 5-9

That's why I've heard too and that sometimes it works when CD5-9 does not. The Doctor said it doesn't really matter which day you want to take it but then I think we'll it can't hurt.

I got pregnant on my fourth cycle of chlomid 2-6 days but it ended in mc
I am sticking to the 2-6 days though as it did work

Hey I'm new here. In the same boat though. 1st round 50mg didn't work. That was so devastate for me. On day 12 of 100mg for me! I take day 3-7. Are you going in for any ultrasounds or day 21?

Did you ovulate on 50mg? I didn't :/ It was depressing for me too, I didn't realize how much I expected it to work. I'm trying to keep low expectations this time.

I started my period today (with four days left of Provera) so I'll be starting Clomid in a couple of days.

No ultrasound or blood checks for me. My Doctor says she would monitor me on the third round if the first two didn't work.

Did you have any side effects on 50mg or 100mg?

Hello ladies! started out on 50mg of clomid two cycles then doctor upped the dosage to 100mg for another two cycles im currently on my 4th cycles keeping my fingers cross it works doctor said i ovulated on it but no BFP yet family memebers told me to get a womb clean /d&c and that would help have u ladies heard of this?

Oh an im also taking it 2-6 days doctor said it works better with your body natural way of ovulating.

Hey jessthemess. No I didn't ovulate on 50mg. ...kinda makes me worried. Yeah my expectations are pretty low too Def about getting pregnant. I would just like to ovulate! My side effects on 50mg was bad cramping. . Hot flashes. Provera side effects were migraines. So far on 100mg. Just hot flashes. And very dry cm. (Hate having to use preseed). I never need ed it before. But now on medicine I need it. It's like you get improved one one area but then get a side effect that makes another area worse. Ugh. What about you any side effects?

Babymother. I wonder if a womb clean is like what I had. I had a lap procedure where they explored and cleared out any scar tissue. Also had dye test to clean out tubes. If that is what you're talking about I've heard success from them really just depends on what the problem is. So far it hasn't helped me. Actually since March when I had it done I haven't ovulated :/ but every body is different. Sounds like a good plan for you though if clomid doesn't work for ya!

I always took it days 3-7, would ovulate cd 15 , but everyone is different.

Hi there

I also took 50mg last month days 5-9; didn't ovulate. Decided to take matters into my own hands and am taking 100mg this month days 2-6. Also previous month in the morning this month in the evening.

Am trying to cut out as much stress as possible; stopped my 1 cup of coffee a day and trying to exercise a little each day as my dr told me that stress is supressing my ovulation. Side effects last month just a few headaches and sore boobs; this month first two days were very bad with nausea, dizziness and fatigue but much better today!

I agree I just want to OVULATE at least! That will at least be a start!
