Have got my date now - 26th February and I'm feeling really nervous. I've never had a general anaesthetic before so am even worried about this!
I'm having hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy to have a look at what is going on inside. Then if necessary they will remove one or both fallopian tubes at the same time.

Has anyone ever been through this and does anyone have any advice or words of wisdom?

Thanks,

Me x x

I have- though it was due to ectopic pregnancy. I still have had multiple laparoscopys and 2 laparotomies.

It's ok. Surgery isnt' fun but it's not that bad. You will go to sleep and wake up with a few small incisions. They will heal quickly. But take it easy for a little bit anyway- even though you will likely feel fine (other than bloated- from the gas they use )

Going in today for pre op and feeling a bit nervous :/

How was your pre-op?

Bkrispy has it exactly right - the laparoscopy isn't bad with the exception of bloating. I hardly had any pain afterwards.
