My girls have dropped 2 feedings in the last month. They are down to 3 feedings a day (6am wake, 11am, 7pm bed). The last few days I have struggled to keep them interested in the 11am feeding as well. They dont come "ask" for it anymore. If they accept my offer of breast they will unlatch just after letdown and grab their sippy. Before they dropped feedings they were having problems w/constipation so per Doc I started giving them juice or water in sippy cups. Is 2-3 feedings normal for this age? They also get 3 meals a day but I feel like they should be nursing more. Are they fixing to wean? Thanks in advance!!!

https://kellymom.com/bf/concerns/child/back-to-breast/ there's information about nursing strikes and getting babies back to the breast. It may not totally apply to your kids- but it might help.

Since they go for the sippy cups- they may feel like they have too much to do to take the time to nurse, could you express into sippy cups to get them their milk that way?
