Hi All,
I had a nuchal ultrasound done last Friday (July 31) at 14 weeks, I was measuring 14+4 with a Heart rate of 142.
Because I was measuring ahead they could not get an accurate measurement, my doctor assured me because of my age and family history chromosomal abnormalities were unlikely. (I am 26)
I had my follow up appointment with him last night and he said that the Radiologist is concerned with the veins in the babies neck as they are extremely large and should not be that big this far along, I have to have a repeat U/S on August 11th to see if the veins have shrunk. My Dr. & Radiologist said this is a sign of Turner's Syndrome.
Has anyone ever had this happen or have experience with a Turner Syndrome Pregnancy. I have read that if they find it in fetal development there is only a 5% chance of having a successful pregnancy. I am trying my best to stay positive however I am terrified to lose this baby.
