post coital exam negative

trying to conceive 16 months 2 rounds of clomid
d and c in july, fluroscopy in dec and everything was open and normal, sperm analysis at that time was great all above average

today had post coital exam (day 16 of cycle) have been ovulating around day 17
test was negative no sperm seen
my ph normal; mucus great, large follicle on ovary, everything looked great except no sperm
anyone else had this and still got pregnant

I am interested to hear if you ladies heard anything about this. My gyn won't do a post coital test. I would go straight to IUI if I had a negative test to bypass the cervix. Maybe you can try mucinex, drinking lots of water, testing the pH and balancing if needed (some people even douche just before BD to balance pH), eating foods low in acid content, using preseed, etc.
