You know how sometimes your foot size changes after pregnancy? I used to be a 7 and now I'm an 8. Well does this happen with your fingers and ring size too? I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring since I got pregnant. I'm back to my pre preggo weight (Yay!) but it still doesn't fit. Is it possible my fingers are just bigger forever now, like my feet?

It took me many months before I could fit my wedding ring again. I'm not sure if the ring fits better now because it's colder outside or if it's because my pregnancy-related swelling went away.

I think there is swelling that sticks around after pregnancy. Even though I fit my rings until I'd gained over 20 lb while pregnant, I couldn't fit my rings until I had lost all of my weight. They fit fine now. So I would wait a couple months at least.

Ah, sorry...I never read your ticker. A friend of mine waited a year and did end up having to go up a ring size so it is possible unfortunately

It's possible. After DS1, my ring fingers went up a half size. It sucked because I wore my class ring a lot before falling pregnant with him, and for part of the pregnancy. Now it just sits in my jewelry box.

I lucked out this time. I had to stop wearing my rings halfway through pregnancy, and now I can wear them. Took about 3 weeks after birth though.
