a little confused with ovulation?!
Hey im a little confused as to my ovulation, ive worked out my ovulation days best days to TTC but when i do my ovulation testing it never shows up for those days. im so confused, last month my period was on the 1st October, this month it was the 12th november, last month i didnt use ovulation tests or go by those we just on the days shown most fertile, but this month it says my most fertile days are 22nd -26th Nov. But nothing is showing up on my ovulation sticks help lol my period has been on three diff dates now in sept it was the 4th then oct was 1st then 12th november :S im so confused, whats happening? sorry for the rambling i just dont understand

Sometimes women never get a pos opk even if they do ovulate. Some only get a line that is slightly dark but just never as dark as the control line. I wouldnt fret to much about it.Are you using FF? What has been the length of your last few cycles? Im sorry I cant be much more help with it, hopefully someone else can. Good luck babe xx

hi hun itd ok. im not using ff as i dont understand it. it kept getting my days wrong fr some reason lol. its normally aroun 28-30 days. but this month af was only here for 4 days in total and im usually af for 7 days xxx

It's a tricky business this ovulation malark! Right i'm hope i can try and help. Sounds like you're having a 43day cycle going by you saying that your period in Oct came Oct 1st and then November on the 12th, by that you should ovulate 14 days before your next period on a 43 day cycle CD29 meaning on Dec 10th i would start testing a few days before that date as you may see an opk fade in. That said this will only be correct on a 43day cycle, if you're not normally regular than may i recommend the herb Vitex, i came off the pill 6months ago and my periods were ridiously out of wack i only had 2 periods during that time and my longest cycle was 77days!!! i started taking vitex, charting my temps, and using the clearblue fertility moniter. I was on a 42day cycle last month. As my clearblue fertility moniter read high i started to back this up and started using first responce opk test and got a positive a few days later, first one ever! as soon as i got the positive me and DH BD'd like mad for the next few days, then 10dpo i got my BFP!

if u start using opk from cd11 then u wont miss it hun xx every mth u can O a few days later/earlier,the sites that tell u ur most fertilite days are just est, think they say 14days b4 ur next af....BUT if u chart on ff aswell and put as much info in as poss...cm/cp etc then pos opk, after 2mth charting ff will give u more accurate fertilite days, if uv bought expensive opk,then get the internet cheapos they do wrk just as good,

I use a high dose of evening primrose oil from healthspan (online) to regulate my cycle - normally can be 28 - 38 days, on the epo it regulates at approx 31 days. Need at least 2000 units a day every day, but you start off at 3000 for say 6 weeks to get it into your system.

Just keep testing twice a day from about CD11 (just in case you O early) Get the cheap tests and eventually you will hit jack pot. I O a week later than I thought on a 26 day cycle. Maybe next cycle you can temp too. The docs say it's best to bed 3 times a week to ensure high sperm levels and catch that crucial O time. Good luck. x
