posterior tongue tie

Hi Ladies, my LC thinks my bubs may have posterior tongue tie (farther back than regular tongue tie and very hard to diagnose) so we've breen referred to a consultant to have it checked out. I'm hopimg this will solve all of our latch problems and finally be able to BF pain free.

Has anyones bubs had tongue tie and what were your experiences hen thdey had it snipped and also how long did it take for BF to improve afterwards????

My little man is tongue tied think thats why we had problems BF too but HV said she wont do anything till hes older and it effects his speach (daft i know as it will be too late) then hed have to have speach therapy x

Aw what a shame!!! My MW nor HV are interested to be honest we luckily found out i could be referred by my LC as i've been in agony now for over 8 weeks and am determined to BF.
