I am 32 years old, pregnant at week 20 for the first time... I discovered at week 17 that there is no amniotic fluid around the baby, probably the baby have no kidneys and will die in the womb or when he will be born... that 's very frustrating and i am heartbroken. I will carry the baby until he decide to let go

i'm so sorry to hear this. :hugs: could it be anything else that could result in a healthy pregnancy?

the doctor put me on bed rest for 1 week in case i was leaking but i wasn't, the only reason is problem with kidneys, i did an ultrasound on week 19 and they just couldn't see things clearly due to no fluid. the doctor told me to expect the worse since termination is not an option for me. I will let God take control. it's devastating to know that you are expecting someone you love who won't be able to stay in this life long enough to realize how much I love Him or her... they didn't know the sex of the baby due to absence of fluid.

How devastating for you. I'm so very sorry for what you are about to go through. If you can take pictures and footprints and hold your baby as long as you can; you'll never forget that time you got with your very special angel. Sending you :hugs:

Oh dear. Hugs to you and your family. I cannot begin to understand exactly what you are going through, but I can imagine. How heart wrenching.

Do not worry about Baby not knowing how much you and OH love Baby. Baby knows exactly how much you love him/her.

So very sorry you are going through this , let's hope for a miracle xxx

I'm so very very sorry for all you're going through. :hugs: By chance, has the doctor mentioned the possibility of amnioinfusion, which is mechanical replacement of amniotic fluid? They do that in cases of Potter's Syndrome so that they can see the baby well enough on u/s to even diagnose the Type(extent) of Potter's. That would be able to tell you and the doctor about the baby's chances and any possible management/care/treatment options. I don't know if it's an option, but you could always ask if you haven't already.

:hugs:

So sorry you have to go through this terrible time, I am praying for you.
