We did Informaseq NIPT at 11 weeks and the results said girl, but I didn't believe it.

Today I had an ultrasound (checking cervical length) and the sonographer took a look for me, though she said it's still early on to tell. Her best guess is girl...what are your thoughts? Can I really be excited about a girl?

That looks just like my 15 week ultrasound with this pregnancy, and I've been told girl 3 times now. Definitely a girl!

NIPT is very accurate. I think it's around 98% even for the sex. The test did not pick up a Y chromosome (male chromosome) from baby in your blood - indicating you're having a girl. The concentration of baby's DNA in your blood is very very low, so it (a Y chromosome) could be there and was not picked up, (hence the 98% not 100%), but this is very unlikely. I think it's safe to celebrate your baby girl. Congrats!

V similar to my girl potty shot at 15/16 weeks since confirms at 20 weeks I think u are safe to get excited! X

If that's not a girl ill eat my hat.

Definitely :pink: ! A boy's winky is usually very noticeable at 15 weeks ;)

I had a NIPT also and no Y to be found, she is definitely ALL :pink: !!

Congrats!
